big back

/ /ˈbɪɡ bæk/ /BIG BAK
noun · nationwide (internet) · 2020s

1.
A greedy eater — the one always angling for the biggest plate or a second helping. Used teasingly about somebody's appetite, and sometimes their size. Also as an adjective: "you being big back."
You ate both plates? You is big back for real.
Origin & Attribution
African American and Black queer internet humor. The greedy-eater sense grew out of AAVE and Black online comedy — through Vine and hip-hop joke culture — before the "bigbacked" skit trend blew up on TikTok in 2024. An older, unrelated British sense meant simply a big behind.
